What is the “CISA premium”?
The CISA premium is the pay gap between professionals who hold the Certified Information Systems Auditor credential and otherwise-similar peers who don’t. Employers pay it because CISA signals verified competence in the IS audit process, IT governance, systems acquisition, operations and resilience, and protection of information assets — exactly the assurance skills that are hard to evaluate from a résumé alone.
